Getting to know the clay
We’ll get to know the clay and learn about the pinch technique. We’ll think about the shape of our cups and prepare the clay for working.

Shaping the cup
Using the pinch technique, we’ll shape the clay into a cup.

Adding colour and carved details
We’ll apply coloured slip to our cups, then use the sgraffito technique to add patterns and details. Each participant will create a cup that reflects their own style.

Finishing up
We’ll add the final touches and complete our work. After the workshop, we’ll take care of drying, firing and glazing the cups.

You can collect your finished cup from our store in approximately two weeks. If you prefer, we can ship it to your address for an additional ₺200 shipping fee.

No previous ceramics experience is needed; we’ll guide you through the shaping and decorating stages.

• If you cancel at least 7 days before the workshop begins, you will receive a full refund.
• If you let us know that you cannot attend less than 7 days but at least 48 hours before the workshop begins, you may use the amount paid towards another daily workshop taking place within one month of the original workshop date. Refunds are not available during this period.
• If you cancel less than 48 hours before the workshop begins, no refund or transfer to another workshop is available.
• If Dot cancels the workshop, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another suitable workshop.
