Workshop fees may be updated depending on seasonal conditions, demand, and changes in the market. However, the total workshop fee stated in Euros on the relevant workshop page at the time of booking will not change once the reservation has been confirmed.

Where payments are made in Turkish Lira, the Euro foreign exchange selling rate published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) on the date of payment will apply.

As the deposit and the remaining balance may be paid on different dates, and exchange rates may fluctuate over time, participants attending the same workshop may ultimately pay different total amounts in Turkish Lira. The Turkish Lira amount displayed at checkout and approved by the participant will be valid for the relevant payment transaction.

Reservation and Deposit

To secure a place in the workshop and confirm the reservation, a deposit of TRY 15,000, including VAT, must be paid at the time of registration.

Day 1 | 09:00–13:00 / 14:00–17:00

• Creating porcelain elements for necklaces and bracelets using two different forming and surface techniques.

Day 2 | 09:00–13:00 / 14:00–17:00

• Creating porcelain chains using different forming techniques.

The pieces created on Days 1 and 2 will undergo a bisque firing at 900°C, allowing the kiln to be opened on the morning of Day 3.

Day 3 | 09:00–13:00 / 14:00–17:00

• Creating porcelain rings using distinctive forming techniques.
• Sanding and finishing the bisque-fired pieces created on Days 1 and 2, followed by the application of black slip.

The pieces created on Days 1 and 2 will then undergo a high-temperature firing at 1270°C, allowing the kiln to be opened on the morning of Day 5.

Day 4 | 09:00–13:00 / 14:00–17:00

• Creating porcelain rings and pendants using different forming techniques.

Day 5 | 09:00–13:00 / 14:00–17:00

• Sanding and finishing the bisque-fired rings created on Days 3 and 4.
• Assembling the porcelain elements to create finished necklaces and bracelets.

The pieces created on Days 3 and 4 will undergo a high-temperature firing at 1270°C, allowing the kiln to be opened on the morning of Day 6, before participants leave the workshop.

Luca Tripaldi was born in Turin, Italy. He currently lives in Florence, where he continues his artistic practice in his own studio.

After studying graphic design, he worked for ten years as a sculptor for various opera houses, creating custom-made masks. In 1998, he established his own ceramics studio. Porcelain has since become the primary material in his work, with a particular preference for unglazed surfaces.

Tripaldi creates most of his jewellery in black or white porcelain, enriching his pieces with ceramic transfers and silver details. Alongside his artistic practice, teaching plays an important role in his work. He regularly leads workshops in cities across Europe, the United States, and Canada.

We strongly recommend choosing accommodation in the Kırkpınar area, so that you can easily walk to and from the studio throughout the week.

Cancellation Notice

Any withdrawal or cancellation request made by the participant must be submitted by email to shop@dotconceptstore.com before the workshop start date.

The email must clearly state the participant’s full name, order or reservation number, the name and date of the workshop, and the cancellation request. The cancellation date will be deemed to be the date on which the notice is received by Dot’s email system.

Notifications made by telephone, social media, or messaging applications will not be considered an official cancellation notice unless the same request is also submitted by email.

Dot will confirm receipt of the cancellation request by email. If the participant does not receive confirmation that the cancellation request has been received, they are advised to contact Dot again.

Cancellations by the Participant

Subject to any statutory right of withdrawal and any circumstances in which a refund is required by applicable law, the following cancellation terms apply:

61 Days or More Before the Workshop Start Date

For cancellations made within the 14-day statutory withdrawal period starting from the date the reservation is concluded, all amounts collected from the participant will be refunded in full.

For cancellations made after the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, the TRY 15,000 deposit, including VAT, will not be refunded in cash. Instead, it will be converted into a credit balance valid for one year from the date it is issued, which may be used towards another Dot workshop. Any amounts paid in addition to the deposit will be refunded to the participant in full.

31–60 Days Before the Workshop Start Date

The TRY 15,000 deposit, including VAT, is non-refundable. Of any amount paid in addition to the deposit, 50% will be converted into a credit balance valid for one year, while the remaining 50% will be refunded to the participant.

1–30 Days Before the Workshop Start Date

The TRY 15,000 deposit, including VAT, is non-refundable. Of any amount paid in addition to the deposit, 75% will be converted into a credit balance valid for one year, while the remaining 25% will be refunded to the participant.

The cancellation request must be submitted by email before the workshop start date.

We understand that illness, bereavement, or other unexpected circumstances may arise. However, as it is often not possible to fill a cancelled place at short notice, the cancellation terms above apply equally to all participants. Participants are encouraged, where appropriate, to consider obtaining personal travel or event insurance that covers the risk of cancellation.

If a participant voluntarily leaves after the workshop has started, does not attend the workshop, or does not participate in part of the programme, no refund will be provided, without prejudice to any mandatory rights available to the participant under applicable law.

Credit Balance

Any credit balance created as a result of a cancellation or transfer will remain valid for 1 year from the date on which it is communicated to the participant in writing.

The credit balance may be used towards another Dot workshop within its validity period, subject to availability. It may also be transferred to another person upon the participant’s written request sent to shop@dotconceptstore.com.

The credit balance cannot be redeemed for cash. Any credit balance not used within the one-year validity period will expire at the end of that period, without prejudice to any mandatory rights available to the participant under applicable law.

If the fee for the workshop to which the credit is transferred is higher than the available credit balance, the participant must pay the difference. If the workshop fee is lower, the unused amount will remain available as credit until the end of the original one-year validity period.

Right of Withdrawal

For reservations where the right of withdrawal applies under applicable legislation, the participant may exercise their right of withdrawal within 14 days from the date the reservation is concluded, without providing any reason.

If there are 61 days or more before the workshop start date and the notice of withdrawal is submitted within 14 days from the date the deposit was paid, the deposit collected will be refunded to the participant.

Cancellation or Date Change by Dot

If the workshop does not reach the required minimum number of participants, or if it is cancelled by Dot due to circumstances related to the instructor, venue, or organisation, the participant will be offered the following options:

• A full refund of all payments made, 
• Transfer of the amount paid to another Dot workshop of the participant’s choice, 
• Transfer to the rescheduled date of the workshop at no additional cost. 

The choice between these options belongs to the participant. The participant is not required to accept the new date or an alternative workshop. Their preference must be communicated by email to shop@dotconceptstore.com within the period specified in Dot’s notification.

Circumstances in Which the Deposit Is Refundable

The TRY 15,000 deposit, including VAT, will be refunded in the following circumstances:

• The participant exercises their statutory right of withdrawal within the applicable period, 
• The workshop is cancelled by Dot and the participant chooses the refund option, 
• A significant change is made to the workshop date, essential content, or other material terms, and the participant does not accept the revised conditions, 
• In any other circumstances where a refund is required under applicable legislation. 

If the participant voluntarily cancels their reservation outside the statutory withdrawal period, the stated cancellation terms will apply to both the deposit and the remaining workshop fee.
